Now available for pre-order at B&H Photo, the Roland V-02HD PAC1 and V-02HD PAC2 bundles combine the compact V-02HD two-channel HDMI video switcher with a foot pedal for convenient, hands-free switching. With this versatile micro-switcher, a single camera operator can live-switch between two cameras while outputting to a recorder or a live streamer. The V-02HD packs switching, scaling and input-expansion functions into a form small enough to pack into your camera bag. Fearlessly mix camera, projector, or computer sources—the V-02HD’s discrete input and output scalers resize your video resolutions for accurate display.

The V-02HD offers 14 visual effects, five composition effects for titling, a keying effect for green screen, and a PiP function. It incorporates a T-bar for seamless switching and supports multiple HD video resolutions up to 1080p60 with 10-bit 4:4:4 color. Designed to integrate with standard video production workflows, the minimal-latency V-02HD can also be used to add that extra input you find yourself needing when all options on your larger mixer are already in use. Compact as it is, the V-02HD doesn’t skip on audio features. It both embeds and de-embeds audio for flexible input and output and incorporates three-band EQ and dynamics. A built-in audio effects library includes presets for common situations like interviews, ambient sound capture, and wind noise reduction when shooting outdoors.

This compact HD video switcher can be mounted on a tripod easily, and can be powered via a third-party battery for mobile productions. The V-02HD PAC1 bundle includes a BOSS FS-5U unlatching footswitch; if you prefer a momentary/ unlatching combo footswitch, try the V-02HD PAC2 bundle with a BOSS FS-6 pedal. Each bundle also includes an AC adapter, two 16' HDMI cables, and one phono-plug audio cable.
