Atomos Shogun Studio II Rackmount 4K Dual Recorder & Monitor

Proving that Atomos monitor/recorders are as at home in a studio or on a broadcast truck as perched atop your camera, Atomos has announced the Atomos Shogun Studio II. Pending further details, here’s what we know so far about this successor to the Shogun Studio.

The Shogun Studio II is a rack-mounted, dual 7" monitor/recorder unit featuring up to 4K60 capture via SDI and HDMI input/outputs with signal conversion. Support for up to four 1080p60 SDI ISO recordings makes the Shogun Studio II perfect for capturing multi-cam studio shows or live events.

Compatibility with multiple codecs like Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes, Avid DNxHR, and Adobe CDNG enables the Shogun Studio II to help speed your editing workflow. Additional features include a monitor brightness of 3000 cd/m² for easier viewing in bright locations, a 3 RU chassis, and stereo XLR audio input/output per channel. In addition to the rackmount and power cables, a pack of five Master II caddies are included with the Shogun Studio II.

Peruse the entire Atomos line of recorder/monitors and converters on the B&H Photo website and be sure to swing by the B&H SuperStore if you’re in the Big Apple.
