We are happy to announce that B&H is carrying the Beholder MS-PRO 3-Axis Stabilizer, from ikan. Ideal for mirrorless cameras, this easy-to-use stabilizer supports up to 1.9 pounds and features a 32-bit encoder and 12-bit controller for smooth precise stabilization. You mount your camera on the included quick-release plate, and then balance the camera on the MS-PRO. Lever locks allow you to secure the camera and lock its balance, without requiring tools. In addition to mirrorless cameras, the MS-PRO can support smartphones and GoPro cameras.
The stabilizer features four modes: Lock Mode holds the camera facing in one direction no matter if you pan, tilt, or roll the stabilizer; Pan-Follow mode locks the tilt and roll, while allowing the pan to follow along with your movements; Follow Mode allows the camera to follow the tilt and pan axes while holding the roll axis stable. Finally, 3-Axis Follow Mode allows the stabilizer to follow your movements in all axes. A manual Point-And-Lock function allows you to physically move your camera to the frame you want, and it will remain there. Additionally, a built-in joystick will let you to pan and tilt your camera while shooting, without disturbing the stabilization, so you can find your frame. You can even flip the MS-PRO upside down to get underslung shots without having to contort your body. The base of the MS-PRO features a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole so that you can mount it on a tripod, jib, or dual-handle support system, such as the ikan DGH.
So, with fast, tool-free balancing, multiple follow modes, joystick override control for framing, and underslung mode, the Beholder MS-PRO 3-Axis Gimbal stabilizer is just the ticket for mirrorless shooters who want to create cinematic and moving shots.
