Lorex by FLIR Updates NVRs and Introduces 4MP and PTZ Cameras

Lorex by FLIR has expanded its impressive surveillance lineup by introducing five new products, which include three new cameras and an update to the LNR400 Series network video recorder. Compatible with 4MP resolution network cameras, the LNR400S Series NVR boasts 16 PoE-injected channels and a pre-installed 3TB HDD to store recorded video. Notable features include USB backup, Pentaplex operation, and remote monitoring from a web browser or iOS and Android devices via the free mobile app, making this NVR a great choice for new or existing surveillance setups. If you need additional hard drive space, you can now upgrade to 12TB of total storage, 4TB more than previous-generation NVRs.

Furthermore, Lorex’s new LNB4163B 4MP Outdoor Camera is the perfect companion to the aforementioned NVR. This camera captures high-quality video in 2688 x 1520 resolution, delivering double the detail of 1080p video. Additionally, this bullet camera can produce high-definition images even in complete darkness from up to 90' away, all thanks to an IR cut filter and built-in IR LEDs around the lens of the camera. Since the camera runs on PoE, all you need to do is plug in the Ethernet cable to the NVR and you’re ready to go.

If you’re in the market for a security camera with longer range, check out Lorex’s new PTZ offerings, such as the LNZ32P4B and LNZ32P12SB cameras. Both cameras feature high-speed PTZ functionality and a 2.1MP sensor to deliver clear 1080p video. The former has a 2.7-11mm varifocal lens, providing 4x optical and 12x digital zoom, while the latter has 12x optical and 16x digital zoom to complement its 5-61mm varifocal lens. Both of these network cameras are IP66-rated and compatible with the LNR400S Series NVR.

Not upgrading until I'm sure there's no recording gaps, which is what I have now with their 1080p system. Very disappointed.
