Designed to capture detailed, high-resolution imagery without the distortions sometimes found with rolling shutter cameras, the KOMODO is ideal for indie features, documentaries, streaming web series, and more. Constructed of lightweight yet durable aluminum alloy, the KOMODO body’s compact 4 x 4 x 4” form weighs only 2.1 lb, making it perfect for stabilizer, handheld, and run-and-gun capture. Its Canon RF mount offers lens flexibility with updated phase-detection autofocus, and its high-resolution touchscreen and 12G-SDI 4K output provide clear viewing for both the camera crew and video village.
Both the KOMODO 6K and KOMODO-X 6K are available as standalone cameras and in various camera kits, with a Canon RF mount in the KOMODO and a choice of Nikon Z or Canon RF mounts in the KOMODO-X for using a wide array of lenses. The KOMODO Starter Pack is now just $4500, comprising the camera, an RF-to-EF mount adapter with a variable ND filter, a 512GB CFast 2.0 card, a card reader, two Wing Grips, and two REDVOLT batteries. Now only $5500, the KOMODO Production Pack includes the starter pack items plus an expander module and an Outrigger handle with run/stop capabilities in lieu of the right Wing Grip.
Firmware Update 1.8.3
With firmware update 1.8.3, new user pages are now accessible via the KOMODO’s onboard LCD screen, letting you adjust your settings on the fly. Calibration times have been significantly reduced with this update, getting you up and running to start capturing more quickly than ever before.
Easily toggle between key functions using your KOMODO’s top buttons with the new update. This enables you to quickly switch between functions like a high frame rate and standard speed—no time spent hunting through menus when you want to capture a stunt with slow-motion and then switch to normal speed to cover your talent’s dialogue.
