Hollyland just unveiled its new Pyro H wireless video transmission system, a low-latency, HDMI-only solution with dual-band support that can stably transmit 4K30 video up to 1300'—depending on the number of receivers.
The Pyro H marks Hollyland’s first foray into the realm of four-receiver support. By combining Hollyland’s innovative “Broadcast mode” and self-developed dual-band technology, the Pyro H transmitter can transmit signals to up to four receivers at a range of 650'. When Broadcast mode is deactivated, the Pyro H transmitter can connect to up to two receivers and two mobile devices up to 1,300' away.
Unlike other video transmission systems that sacrifice image quality and latency to achieve an extended transmission range, the Pyro H doesn’t compromise on performance. Thanks in part to its new, long-range cylindrical antennas, the Pyro H can transmit stable 4K video signals at up to 30 fps, ensuring image clarity and detail no matter the transmission range.
In terms of compatibility, both the Pyro H transmitter and receiver come with a USB-C OTG adapter that allows seamless integration with a wide range of devices without the need for additional drivers or software installations. This plug-and-play feature also helps simplify setup and operation, making the Pyro H an appealing solution for various applications, including live streaming and video conferencing.
Hollyland also launched some additional Pyro H support items, including a new cold shoe mount and screw fitting. The cold shoe augments your mounting possibilities and provides a reliable, worry-free option for keeping your system components firmly in place. The screw fitting allows you to mount the transmitter on the same stabilizer holding your camera.
The Pyro H transmitter, receiver, antennas, and support items can be purchased separately or as a complete package.
