Hollyland PYRO H Overview

Add 4K30 wireless video transmission to your production using the versatile Pyro H 4K HDMI Wireless Video Transmitter from Hollyland. The transmitter provides HDMI input and features extremely low 60 ms latency that accepts line-of-sight transmission from up to 1300' away. When using broadcast mode using up to four receivers and two mobile devices, the system supports up to 650' away. The unit also features an HDMI loop output for displaying your local feed on a monitor. A USB-C port can power the unit and also supports plug-and-play UVC operation. The built-in frequency scanner allows you to select the clearest frequency for your transmission.
Long Distance, High Quality
The Pyro H Wi-Fi broadcast technology enables one transmitter to connect to four receivers with stable signals, offering more flexibility when additional monitoring needs emerge on set. When Broadcast mode is activated, the transmitter can transmit signals to at most four receivers, and the line-of-sight range reaches 650'. When Broadcast mode is deactivated, the transmitter can transmit signals to at most two receivers and two mobile devices, and the line-of-sight range extends up to 1300'.
Strong Signal Strength
At a stable transmission range of up to 1300', the Pyro H features latency as low as 60ms. Compared to the Mars series, whose transmission range extends at the cost of image quality and latency, the Pyro H excels with increased transmission distance while preserving video quality and minimizing latency. The transmitter/receiver combo also provides two modes for users to tip the balance between image quality and latency, with HD mode for better image quality with a bit rate of up to 12 Mb/s and Smooth mode for a dynamic change in latency.
HDMI Loop Output
The HDMI output port allows video signals to be displayed on a monitor without compromising the quality of the transmitted signal. This enables users to conveniently monitor the transmitted content and make adjustments as necessary.
Crisp and Sharp Images
With up to 4K30 transmission capabilities, the Pyro H transmits images with superior clarity, detail, and realism, making it a great choice for professional applications like broadcast and filmmaking.
USB Video Class
UVC allows seamless compatibility with a wide range of devices, such as computers, without requiring additional drivers or software installations. This plug-and-play feature simplifies setup and operation, making it convenient for users in various scenarios such as live streaming and video conferencing.
Smart Channel Scan
Upon startup, Pyro H automatically chooses a high-quality frequency channel, optimizing the user experience from the outset. Additionally, users can activate the smart channel scan function on the receiver to view real-time feedback on the frequency status, thus ensuring an uninterrupted and reliable experience.
Easy Setup
The Pyro H supports preset grouping and pairing, eliminating the need for users to repetitively and manually set up the transmitter and receivers.
Continuous Power, Multiple Options
In addition to DC input and NP-F batteries, the Pyro H also supports a USB-C power supply (5-12V). A USB power supply option provides convenience, especially when using stabilizers, as it eliminates the need for larger NP-F batteries, reducing overall weight and enhancing maneuverability.

How can I find the cold shoe adapter that fits to the side of the unit using the 2 mounting points? (Ships with the Mars 4K which has the same 2 mounting points)
Asked by: David
The Hollyland HL-SF02 Screw Fitting 02 is compatible with the Pyro H and adds a second 1/4-20 mount to the front face of the transmitter/receiver (side with colored "Rx" "Tx" plates). Check out the review of this mount here on the B&H site as it shows a picture of the plate mounted to the Pyro H. The review also includes a suggestion for B&H staff to add this compatibility to the description (and show it as an accessory), but this appears not to have made the "to do" list for staff....

Can 2 transmitters send to one receiver, or would that take 2 tx/rx sets?
Asked by: Leah
The Hollyland Pyro H 4K HDMI Wireless Video Receiver (B&H # HOPYROHRX) from the Hollyland Pyro H 4K HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System can only receive a signal from one transmitter at a time. So, if you need to view the feed from two transmitters at the same time, you will need two receivers, one per transmitter.
