Similar to its Indie 7 version, the kit equips you with an Indie 5 5" touchscreen on-camera monitor, as well as the proper control and adapter cables to connect it to your RED camera.
The Indie 5 provides a compact and lightweight monitoring solution with HD resolution. Its 10-bit 4:2:2 Rec.709 color processing, 1000 cd/m² brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio ensure a high-quality and color-accurate visual experience. It features HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs for maximum compatibility.
Upgraded PageOS 5 firmware offers improvements to the preëxisting image monitoring functions and the display of lens focus information. A RED RCP2 camera control software upgrade comes with the kit to control RED-specific functions such as run/stop, color and exposure, status, color temperature, video format, playback, shutter, and more, just using the Indie 5 touchscreen.
Other components of the kit include a micro-USB to 5-pin LEMO adapter to incorporate a Teradek RT lens controller directly into the monitor, as well as a 9-pin to 5-pin USB control cable to facilitate RCP2 functions with the Indie 5. A microfiber cleaning cloth keeps your touchscreen clean without damaging its glass surface.
