SmallHD Goes BIG with Two New Monitors

0Share

SmallHD is expanding its lineup of large monitors, and it is our pleasure here at B&H to share the news with you. To make sure a monitor delivers the resolution, brightness, color-bit depth, inputs, or features you need, you might find yourself compromising on the size you want. Luckily, SmallHD is releasing the Cine 18 and the OLED 27 to help you get the monitor in the size you prefer, with the features and specs for which you are searching. The Cine 18 joins SmallHD's Cine 13 and Cine 24 as a great mid-sized choice, while the larger OLED 27, perfect for finer details, joins the OLED 22.

With a brightness of 1000+ cd/m2, the Cine 18 is suitable for use on interior and exterior shoots. The rugged, 18" chassis is designed for production work ranging from small to large. Whether on location or in a studio, the screen is big enough for several people to view at once, without being unwieldy or taking up too much space. In addition, its variety of inputs can display myriad different formats.

Although it's sturdy and good for use on productions, the 27" OLED monitor, like the OLED 22, makes a superb reference/color-accurate grading monitor. It features a maximum brightness of 535+ cd/m2—quite bright for an OLED screen. Using the monitor on exteriors requires a large hood or tent arrangement. However, when used in a post-production suite, the OLED 27's large screen, high resolution, and color-depth is perfect for HDR viewing and color grading.
