Hands-On Review: GoPro HERO4 Black

11/20/2014Link1

With the release of the GoPro HERO4 Black, the company offers much anticipated 4K recording at a frame rate that is usable for video—not just still photo extraction—30 and 24 fps. The new Silver model, meanwhile, features a built-in LCD touchscreen so you can review footage, delete bad takes, and compose shots without requiring a separate BacPac Accessory. In this video, Mia McCormick reviews these  updates, and more, of  GoPro's two flagship cameras; among them, the Nightlapse feature that will appeal to shooters of starry-filled timelapse videos, and Protune, which is an existing feature now available in photo mode as well as video, giving pros the manual control they need. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at B&H.com.
