For the money, this stand is real solid, good hardware. It seems like it will last a long time.

I use this stand with the extension arm to hold my TD5's w/strip banks and large soft boxes that I need up high at an angle. It is very strong and has a small footprint.

Comments about Avenger A2033F Century C Stand - 10.75' (3.25m):
I have 6 of these now, really great for location or studio work. Very simple to use, great extension and reach. Heavier and sturdier than others stands I've used in the past, but still easy enough to cart around on location. They take a beating too.

Comments about Avenger A2033F Century C Stand - 10.75' (3.25m):
In short, this is an amazing stand. It's heavy, but that's the idea - it's built like a tank, which is what you want. Combined with the D600 boom arm, it's an incredible combo, and I can get my lights pretty much anywhere from ground level (or below) to 18 feet in the air if need be. I will be adding more of these to my arsenal, that's for sure. Well worth the price.

Searched & reviewed for a stand that would serve my purposes for portrait, bands (studio) and outdoor and came to this c-stand. Used with a AB800 + beauty dish + mods and a D600 boom. Works beautifully and assuredly. This combo is likely overkill for using with smaller, lighter flash gear. Dynamite piece of gear.

I use this stand to support a very large OctaBox and monolight. Even when extended high overhead this stand inspires confidence that my hard earned money isn't going to go crashing into the floor. Consider attaching some casters to make it easier to move.

Well made. Very sturdy. Haven't put it through its paces on an actual location shoot, but so far in the studio it works as it should.

Comments about Avenger A2033F Century C Stand - 10.75' (3.25m):
Super sturdy. Lifted it all the way up with a large octabox just see (without weights to hold it down mind you), and it stood perfectly straight with no sign of tipping. Granted, I would never do that on the job, but it's proof that this thing will not let you down.

I have a dozen Manfrotto and Photoflex stands of one kind or another.
I have considered the Avenger in the past but thought they might be too expensive. Decided to try one and here is my opinion: FANTASTIC!
VERY heavy duty, excellent footprint, easy to sandbag when used with heavy monolights and booms.
Just awesome.
If you know anyone that wants to buy my used stands, let me know as I am going on a program to buy one Avenger per month until my entire studio is fully equipped with these.
I cannot recommend them enough.
