Shopping for Canon Printer Accessories
Canon printer accessories enhance the printing experience for both home and office use. From printer cartridges to paper trays, there are many accessories required for a printer to work smoothly. When searching for inkjet printer accessories, it doesn't end with cartridges and paper trays; you also need additional printer memory, calibration sheets, connection cables, and a variety of paper-finishing options.
Types of Canon Printer Ink
There are many types of cartridges to choose from when ordering Canon printer ink for your inkjet machine. All of them offer long-lasting results for different types of documents and photo prints. Most Canon inkjet machines use black and color cartridges that provide sharp, clear text and impressive color output. Others work with single ink cartridges so you can replace individual colors as they run out. High yield XL and XXL cartridges exist for large format printers, allowing you to print more for less.
How Printheads Work
Printheads are the components that all inkjet printers have in common. Their job is to deposit ink on different media types. Most printer heads have one or more chambers that receive ink that they then spray onto media via tiny nozzles. The printheads don't make direct contact with the paper, so the printing process is clean. Like their smaller counterparts, Canon large format printers also have printheads, but they use water-based ink and heat with printhead types called thermal inkjet printer heads.
Canon Printer Cassettes
The paper cassette is where you load the paper. You can usually load Canon machines with up to 250 sheets of plain paper of different sizes such as A4, A5, B5, legal, and letter. You can increase the printing capacity by attaching a different paper cassette than the original one. By adding a paper feeder that can store up to 500 sheets of paper, you can increase productivity and spend less time refilling cassettes.
Using Wide Format Roll Paper
Specialty paper types such as roll printer paper and plotter paper are designed for large format printers. Many people use them for printing posters, large photographs and drawings, and other kinds of promotional materials. In addition to office and home models, commercial and industrial units are also available.
