Shopping for Rokinon Cine Lenses
Use Rokinon Cine Lenses to achieve great results in your films. Many filmmakers choose Rokinon because of its reputation of producing high-quality, reliable equipment. Whether you're a professional filmmaker or a casual videographer, you'll be happy with the superior capabilities of Rokinon.
What's a Cine Lens?
Designed for filmmaking, digital cinema lenses, or cine lenses, feature continuous motion and extremely high-quality video capability, especially when compared to still photo lenses. They feature robust construction and meticulous design. You'll find that they offer a wide range of features that you may not find anywhere else, such as anamorphic lenses, aperture rings, and follow focus systems. Rokinon cine lenses offer 'clickless' iris rings with T-stops, which let you see the exact amount of light that goes through your lens.
Types of Rokinon Cine Lens
There are a few different types of Rokinon cinema lenses to consider. Rokinon wide-angle lenses bring larger areas into focus, increasing the depth of field. Fisheye lenses are extreme wide-angle lenses that capture unique, panoramic scenes. Full-frame lenses work with full-frame cameras to provide high ISO performance with dynamic range. Telephoto lenses capture subjects from very long distances.
Choosing the Right Lens Mounts
Cinema camera lenses come in two lens mount options: EF or PL. PL mounts are heavy-duty, and can support the heavy weight of high-quality cine lenses. Many cine lenses fit either PL or EF cameras. If you need to improvise, adapters help you fit PL mount lenses and EF mount lenses with cameras that have incompatible mounts.
