Picking the Right DJ Tables & Stands

When you're working with professional DJ equipment, it makes sense to set up your booth safely and securely with DJ stands. The right DJ stands can protect your DJ turntable, laptop, and controller, wherever you're performing.

What Are the Benefits of Using DJ Stands?

You can easily maintain a consistent system wherever you go with a DJ stand collection designed for your equipment. Many stands allow you to adjust the height and angle of your gear, to create an ergonomic and comfortable setup.

Types of DJ Stands

Before choosing stands, first take a look at the various styles, to decide which will best match your equipment.

DJ Laptop Stands

Many DJs rely heavily on their laptops to create and play music. Laptop stands keep your laptop in a secured, accessible position. Use a raised stand in small spaces to keep your laptop conveniently above your DJ mixer. Grip brackets help keep your computer secured at all times.

DJ Controller Stands

Many controller stands and laptop stands work together as one unit, allowing you to mount both items on a single stand. Other controller stands are universal, allowing you to easily switch out your controller for your laptop. Highly adjustable components allow you to position your controllers at a suitable distance from other equipment.

DJ Turntable Stands

Turntable stands offer additional space for vinyl records, room for multiple turntables, and extra shelves for mixers. Turntable stands take the form of desks or tables, rather than smaller laptop stands.

Portable DJ Stands vs. Stationary DJ Stands

Portable DJ tables are ideal if you often travel from venue to venue. You can easily disassemble and pack away these stands, and they're well suited for smaller, lightweight components such as laptops and controllers.

On the other hand, a stationary DJ stand can help you create a consistent setup in your home or studio. Stationary stands are better suited for more substantial pieces of DJ equipment, such as turntables and large mixers.
