The DXA-CONNECT from Beachtek is a combination XLR adapter and external gear bracket for DSLR cameras and camcorders. With two low-noise preamps—each replete with three different gain settings, two phantom power voltage options, and trim knobs—the audio component of this device effectively decreases unwanted noise whilst recording audio straight to camera.
But that's not all: the DXA-CONNECT also acts as a bracket on which you can mount external gear for camcorders or DSLRs; anything from shotgun mics, to wireless transmitters, and lights can be affixed to this bracket. With four mounting shoes, the DXA-CONNECT attaches to the hot shoe of your camera and stays conveniently away from its battery drawer. Furthermore, the unit can be rotated in any direction for easy of accessibility. You can even mount a top handle to the DXA-CONNECT for extra grip.
