Compact Shoe Stand for Universal Shoe Mount Accessories is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Big Foot of Flash Gun Stands B&H had several mini flash stands to choose from for replacing my lost one. This one looked ugly, but what interested me was its footprint is much more wider and longer than the Canon OEM. If some one were to run into a table where my flash is sitting on it, its geometry is not going to allow my flash to topple over. Its wide foot holds my 580EX II tightly. There is also a brass insert on the bottomside for mounting it to anything that accepts the thread size. Like a monopod or one of those big clamps. Very nice piece of work. Has a solid feel to it. Thick plastic structure. I like it. Now, what am I going to insert into the 2 other shoe mounts?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive, functional cold shoe. I bought this as a less expensive alternative to the popular Frio cold shoe mount. This serves double-duty for me: as a cheap way to attach a speedlight to a stand (due to the 1/4 -20 metal thread in the bottom of the mount) and as a quick way to support a speedlight if I can set it on the floor or another service while the speedlight is in use. Simple, but functional. Note: I would not recommend buying any cold shoe mounts that have plastic 1/4-20 threading. They won't last long. Serves its purpose. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than original I wanted a small stand that could do two things for me. I wanted a back up cold shoe so I could put my flash off camera securely on a stand. I have a better cold shoe but this would be a great back up. The other thing I needed was a way to balance my flash on the floor. This works better than what originally came with my flash. Granted there aren't too many to choose from on B&H but this is better than the original one that probably came with your flash. It is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy This is a fairly large and stable plate that can be used to hold up to 3 devices with a shoe. This plate can be fixed on a screw. Stable enough to hold a slave flash on the floor or a table top.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It doesn't lay flat on a flat surface I am dissapointed. I expected better construction and stability. It doesn't lay flat. The metal insert at the center is protruding slightly. It makes the stand really fun to spin around on the table, but I wouldn't trust it to hold my flash upright safely. It's much larger than the stand that came with my (DF4000U) flash, but it offers no extra stability. It does not improve side stability. It has a much longer front foot, but the flash rarely falls on its face.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY FUNCTIONAL USED TO HOLD UP TO THREE DEVICES ON ANY LIGHT STAND.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely would by this product again This is a simple, affordable upgrade the the shoe stands that come stock with various flashes for one important reason: brass grommet for attaching to a tripod or light stand. Metal versus plastic grommet allows me to actually tighten and secure the stand without fear of stripping the threads. Secondly the footprint is a bit larger for some more stability off of a stand. Third, it has 3 shoe mounts for multiple flashes or challenging angles.
