The Mopho Monophonic Desktop Analog Synthesizer Module from Dave Smith Instruments is a desktop monophonic synthesizer that is powered by a single voice from the Prophet '08 synth. It has dual oscillators as well as a single Curtis low-pass filter for shaping your sounds. Additionally, the Mopho has two sub-octave generators, one that creates a note one octave below, and a second that creates a note two octaves below for sub-bass frequencies. Its integrated 16x4 step sequencer and arpeggiator allow you to create sequences and playable scales.
The Mopho's parameters can be adjusted via its multiple control knobs as well as its Push It button, which can be used to play a specific note, latch notes, and trigger sequences. You can edit the Mopho's sounds via its control knobs or with the downloadable free editor software for Mac and PC.
