The gray StarTech DB9 RS232 Serial Female to Female Null Modem Cable comes with two D-Sub 9-pin female connectors that enable you to perform a direct cable connection between two serial PCs. It is 10' long and has nickel-plated connectors.

Not really a compliant null modem cable. CD (pin 1) is wired straight through rather than being tied back to pin 6 (DSR). Does not work with file transfer programs that require handshaking. May work for some but total waste for me. Neither Amazon nor Startech provides any wiring diagrams (that I could readily find), had to manually buzz out.
Cable is long which helps when the device is in an obscure location. Works great.
