Realistically, it's five stars, but when you're stuck in the morass of RS232 as your means of communications with recalcitrant old tech, can a product really be 5 stars? I'm sad to say no. No it can not.
Tried using this cable and it didn't work at first but then after playing around with it I was able to get the connection working. I was then told by my operator that the connection dropped during the event but came back pretty quickly.
