This kit is useful for users of the Blackmagic Cinema Camera and many other SDI-output cameras. The Blackmagic Camera outputs a maximum frequency of 30Hz, which is incompatible with most HDMI monitors, whether on-camera monitors or large screen displays. The included LINK converter changes the frequency to 60Hz and enables direct compatibility with the Pro5 LCD monitor and your editing display in the studio.
The Pro5 LCD 5" monitor features an HDMI input, 600:1 contrast, monochrome and color peaking, adjustable RGB control, blue gun, underscan, and DSLR scaling. Other than the L-series battery plate, it also includes a ball head mount, AC power supply, and a removable sun shade.
