Formatt Hitech HT100WA Overview

This 58mm Wide Angle Adapter Ring for 4 x 4" Filter Holder from Formatt Hitech is used to fit the filter holder and screw onto the desired lens, therefore getting the effect of the filter that was slid into the holder.

I purchased this to adapt the Hitech 100x100 filter holder to my lens. I think this adapter has had the black paint applied unevenly, making it a touch egg shaped. It binds when installed into the filter, not allowing easy rotation of the unit.

I was looking to get into long exposure photography and had decided that the Formatt-Hitech filter holder system was the one to invest in, but I had questions about the adapters.
