    Xcellon WP-10R reviews

Wireless Presenter with Red Laser is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Buttons for advancing slides are reversed I used this at a conference with 25 presenters. It worked fine, however the button to advance the slides was the bottom button, while the button to go backwards was the top button. I understand the logic of this since the way you hold the remote puts your thumb naturally at the bottom button. However, I was told by the AV staff that normally the top button advances the slides, so that they needed to tell each presenter how to use the remote. None of the presenters had a problem with the remote once it was explained. They just commented that it was odd. The bottom right button is a toggle button that puts the Start menu on the screen and needs to be pressed a second time to remove that from the screen. This occurred by accident a couple times during the presentations. I will keep this remote as a backup and buy a new one. Once you are familiar with the remote it works very well and the green laser does a good job, but if you have people using it for the first time it requires you to explain the buttons.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great remote, loosy laser The remote works great and is a real asset to our pastors video presentations. As for the laser part of it. For all practical purposes, it is useless. The green dot either doesn't show or is very hard to see. We are using it on our 70 TV and unless you stand directly in front of the TV and hold the laser at the same angle as the TV, it doesn't show.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Perfectly Out of the Box Once you locate the hidden USB receiver, you can plug in into a Win 7 USB port and have it working within seconds. It points and advances Powerpoint slides without programming anything. Unit is too small for my hands making the buttons too close together and it's easy to press the wrong button if you're not careful... especially in a dark room

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Suited for Presentations Very well designed for the presenter of overhead shows. Has only three screw-up proof main buttons - forward, back, and laser pointer. Friendly to big fingers, miss-steps are eliminated. The green laser is powerful and bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! We use it for PowerPoint Presentations on multiple computers, projected. You don't even have to point it at the computer or projector to control a slideshow Has a nice built-in laser pointer. Very affordable....Hopefully it has a long life.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well... it works. The product does what it is supposed to however do to button layout, size and weight it becomes easy to accidentally hit buttons while taking and not realize it. Laser works great and case is good too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expecting more Description said powerful red light pointer and it is not; red light point is not brighter than the average laser pointer. The presentation control are easy to use although.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wireless Presenter pointer The pointer worked well, but make sure it's compatible with your laptop. I had some trouble with a laptop that was not compatible.
