Optex AX-500PLUSTRAN Overview

The Optex AX-500 PLUS Transmitter is suitable for internal or external applications. When used with the receiver (sold separately), this transmitter can accept signals up to 500'. This receiver minimizes the potential for alarms from small animals, blowing debris, and falling leaves.

The beams between the transmitter and receiver trigger an alarm when both of them are broken simultaneously. Initial alignment can be carried out using the built-in optical aiming device to roughly set the sensors while fine-tuning can be carried out using a standard volt meter.

Lightning and surge protection
Anti-frost design
Twin beams require simultaneous interruption to create activation
99% beam blocking stability
AGC (Automatic Gain Control) circuit adjustable beam interruption time
Long interruption time catches an intruder but allows a small animal to pass through
Easy installation and alignment using the viewfinder for rough alignment
Voltage meter jacks for fine-tuning
Sealed optics to prevent ingress of insects and dust
