The RX-40PI Wired Indoor PIR Detector with Pet Immunity from Optex is a passive infrared detector that utilizes patented Quad Zone Logic to accurately detect humans and other large heat-generating sources in a variety of environments. Tolerance to spot temperature changes allows this detector to tell the difference between things like curtains and animals like cats or small-to-medium dogs, ensuring that false alarms are minimized. This detector features a spherical lens design and sealed optics. It covers a 40 x 40' area and has a selectable pulse count (two or four).
