Rated 1 out of 5 by from Caution - card failed Bought this card to take on vacation in Europe. Shot 130 images and reviewed images in camera. Next time I reviewed images 30 pictures had the following: File does not contain image data. Initially thought it was my mistake for not formatting the card before I used it. Took card to local photo store, which recovered all my images. They noted that the last image size was 100MB which is abnormal it should be closer to 13MB. All images were in RAW. Put card back in camera, formatted card, shot another 150 pictures and reviewed them in camera. The next time I tried to review the images, over 60 images were missing image data. Noted that others have reported similar problems with this card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cost effective for slower paced shooting Never have any problems with sandisk! love it. I bought this for shoots where speed of the card doesnt really matter. mostly for maternity shoots. Im not really going to fill up my buffer during this type of shoot so why would I need a super fast card? I shoot with the D800 so the file sizes are large. The 32gb card gives me enough storage space for my shoots. For the price you can pick up a couple without breaking the bank!I would not recommend this card for sessions that require high burst rates or quick shooting of moving targets. It might slow you down, HOWEVER, I still have not had any problems with these types of shoots with this card as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T BUY THESE CARDS!!! I am a professional photographer and I've been using SanDisk cards for over 8 years now and they have all been great...EXCEPT these new gold label cards. I was shooting a wedding and part way through the card it gave me an error and would no longer work. I then tried to transfer the files onto my computer and it would not even recognize the card. I ran recovery software and was able to get almost all the images off, but others have not been so fortunate. I am very surprised that B&H is still selling these cards as they clearly know from all the other reviews that there is an issue with these new gold label cards. DON'T BUY THESE CARDS!!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Card Failed and Poor Customer Service I purchased this card in early February. It worked 4 or 5 times, and then with our daughter's cotillion pictures on it, it failed. Neither my PC nor my Macbook Air could read the card. Then, when I put it back in the camera, the camera also could not read the card either. Sandisk authorized ground shipping return, and has refused to address my need to purchase some recovery software to recover the pictures. Their freeware would read only about every third picture. I expected a better product, and certainly better service. I will stick with Lexar or other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable and Fast - And Compatible... Only having a small handful of cards that are certified as compatible with my camera can be frustrating - especially if you need to replace one with limited time available. The great thing about these cards is they are durable and so far - they are completely reliable. Their speed is great. My camera shoots 11fps and can shoot 200 frames continuously. That's a lot of data. And this card doesn't show any sign of buffer bottlenecking. In all - it's the best card I've ever used.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 of these cards have now lost data I bought one of these cards in February. In the middle of the first shoot using it, it gave a read/write error. I was luckily able to recover the shots, and contacted B&H to get a replacement. Was using the replacement cart the other day. All was well, until I went to get the photos off the card. Again, it's lost all the shots. I'm in the process of recovering them now and will be returning this card for a refund and purchasing another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Two Card Failures in 6 Months! I have used SanDisk CF cards for 8 years without a problem until I changed to this card for my Nikon D700 last fall. The new card failed the first time I used it. B & H replaced it, and 6 months later my other card failed. Both times I could recover the images with the RescuePro software, but for a professional photographer who is paid to deliver, this unreliability causes me to recommend a recall on this card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All that it says it is!! Almost exclusively use SanDisk because I have not had a failure yet with this product. It has been a while since I purchased a card, and to see that not only was the price good, but they have increased the read speed on the Extreme to 120. If I am correct, the write speed used to be 90 MB/s. Great for shooting wildlife and birds in flight. Shoot, shoot, shoot, and take the best to download.
