    SanDisk 128GB reviews

128 GB Extreme CompactFlash Memory Card is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice to never fill a card Great to a card that is larger enough for a great shooting. I run 2 Extreme 128GB in my 1Dx and write to both of them. That way, I have an automatic backup, just in case one card is curropted. Two reasons I did not give this card 5 stars.1. Misleading advertising. Speed shown is read speed (down speed). This is much less important to me than write or upload speed. I care about how fast the camera can write to the card, not how fast the card can write to my computer (unless it is extreme slow - which is it not).2. Price. At $$it would be great deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SanDisk is the Industry Standard, Period Im a Pro Videographer/Photographer, and I am BIG into having redundancy built into my workflow, as after shooting 1000's of events, and other things, your main system WILL fail at some point Fact of this technology. I have used ALL the different brands of cards, some my choice, others no my choice (client provided, etc) - and I honestly can't remember a SanDisk media ever failing - Not just CF cards, but SD and also my SSD that I use with my ATOMOS devices. If you make a living shooting, and you want to ensure you have it you can't go wrong with San Disk and all things being equal nowadays, these aren't that much more per mb than the cheaper cards. The Ultra and Extreme cards are all I use now - no need for the Pro version unless you need the data rate, aka recording at 4K) - for 1080, these are fine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I trust Sandisk I've only had one card go bad the last 15 years of shooting digital. It happened to be Sandisk card 2 years ago. I've been only buying Sandisk brand for the last 12 years or so. My experience with getting the card replaced was amazing. Because of that experience I see no reason to ever Change brands. Price is competitive with any big name too. I bought this perticular card along with the same size SD card for my Canon 5D III for vacation without the worry of filling up cards. I shoot raw and store to both cards in case one fails. Not that it will but you never know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Card for the Money Best card for the money - if you don't need more than 100mps this is a great card - the extremes are great for the big changes in weather here - I have used them on a open sun field in July, and in a blizzard in Feb - never had a problem - word to the wise - always ALWAYS reformat the card before you use it, everytime you use it, and you'll never have a problem. - goes with any card - Love these - I think I own about 20 now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable I've never had a problem with SanDisk. I bought this before NYCC and wanted to take photos and video without worrying about not having enough memory and this worked perfectly for me as expected. I took some photos and uploaded them before the event just to check it out and everything was fine and I had no problems with heavy use for 4 days in a row.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value for a Great Card Large capacity at a reasonable price. Ideal backup card for those using the Nikon D810 or similar cameras. Use SD cards as a the primary card, and back up to these 128GB cards; the CF card literally lives in the camera, and periodically you format the card... other than that it lives in the camera as a permanent backup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trustworthy Memory I take landscape and wildlife pictures in remote locations. Losing those pictures due to a memory problem is not acceptable. I trust this card to not fail. I used it in a recent trip with zero issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DanDisc Extreme Compact Flash Cards I and family always buy SanDisk for both my Nikon D700 and D810 cameras and have been using them for past many years. I find them superior and reliable to other products.
