How does this compare to be RRS pano kits? Will it work well with RRS L-plates and lens plates?
The Fanotec Nodal Ninja M2 Ultimte Panoramic Head with RD8-II rotator is a great multi-row panoramic head! From our testing, the arca-swiss clamps on Nodal Ninja products has never had any issue with RRS, Kirk, or other arca-swiss products.

Will the Nodal Ninja Ultimate M2 Panoramic Head ...
Will the Nodal Ninja Ultimate M2 Panoramic Head work with the Leica SL3-S camera+ 70-200 mm lens, total weight of 5.4 lbs?
The Nodal Ninja Ultimate M2 Panoramic Head With RD8-II Rotator (B&H# NOF8001) is designed to take loads up to 6.6 lbs., so the total weight of 5.4 lbs. for the Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200mm f/2.8 ASPH Lens (L-Mount) (B&H# LE70200VESL) (3.4 lbs.) plus the Leica SL3-S Mirrorless Camera (B&H# LESL3S) (1.9 lbs. with the battery installed) is not a problem. Having said that, perhaps your concern is that if the no parallax (A.K.A. "nodal") point of the lens is not close to the center of balance of the camera with the lens on it then the head could be a bit stressed. There is no cause for concern, however, as the head is made of high quality and durable metal and will be able to handle the weight. It will be worth taking the time to balance it as well as possible, however, for the smoothest action.

question
I am thinking of getting a Nodal Ninja panoramic head hit for a Nikon D800E and a Nikon 70-200 VRII. Is this the kit to get?
I feel the Nodal Ninja Ultimate M1-L With RD16 II Rotator Panoramic Head B&H # NOM1LRD16II MFR # F8102, would be a better choice. It can support more weight than the other one. And the D800E with the 70-200 lens is pretty heavy.
