iOptron SkyTracker Camera Mount Kit (Black)

The black SkyTracker Camera Mount Kit from iOptron provides a complete package to use your camera for long-exposure astrophotography. The four AA battery-powered SkyTracker mounts to the kit's tripod, and automatically tracks across the Right Ascension to keep your celestial subject centered, focused and streak-free. It comes with an illuminated polar alignment scope to align the camera correctly for accurate tracking.

To attach your camera, use the included SkyTracker Ball Head with the quick-release plate. This head acts like a traditional tripod ball head, but when paired with the SkyTracker, it gives the camera a solid platform for the long-exposures required for astrophotography. An integrated compass and bubble level assist in set up for accurate alignment. With the tripod's 30 pound payload capacity and the SkyTracker's 7.7 pound camera capacity, this kit can support many camera configurations.
