Armasight 5x60 Zeus 336 60Hz Thermal Weapon Sight

The 5x60 Zeus 336 60Hz Thermal Weapon Sight from Armasight is a multi-purpose thermal imager featuring a 75mm f/1.3 lens system, analog video output, and weather-sealed aluminum housing. An uncooled FLIR Tau 2 thermal detector captures 336x256 resolution images at 60Hz, giving this Zeus configuration the imaging prowess needed for close and mid-range tactical engagements as well as real time surveillance and intelligence gathering. By distinguishing slight differences in the heat of objects within the field of view, thermal imagers are capable of seeing through smoke, fog, and dust—day or night.

Armasight equipped the Zeus thermal sight with a range of image adjustment functions that allow the operator to optimize the transmitted image for their targeting or recording task. In addition to Black Hot and White Hot polarity modes, the thermal signature within view can be transposed into a false-color image by selecting one of ten color palette options. Six reticle patterns, each selectable in black, white, red, or cyan, allows the operator to select a color-pattern combination that maximizes contrast and reticle visibility against the thermal landscape. The aiming point of the reticle is digitally adjustable in 0.76 MOA increments; for surveillance tasks and video recording, the reticle can be deactivated.

A Picatinny rail integrated with the Zeus housing permits the attachment of a laser aiming device or other compact rail-mountable accessory. Included with the Zeus thermal weapon sight is a wireless remote control and a dedicated mount for convenient integration with the scope housing. Complementing the imaging performance and versatility of the Zeus thermal weapon sight is a shock-resistant aerospace aluminum housing that is nitrogen-filled for fogproof and waterproof performance.
