The Scene Setter-48 from American DJ is a 48-channel DMX dimming console designed to integrate your audio and lighting production by synchronizing your lights and fog machine with your music, while allowing you to make individual adjustment using 48 adjustable faders. Portable and lightweight (at 15.9 lb), this controller is well suited for mobile DJ setups, touring stage productions or permanent venue installations.

The unit can run programs in Single mode or Mix mode simultaneously and offers a multitude of options for running scenes including Sound-Active, Speed Slider, and Standard Beat with Tap Sync. It also lets you create 4200 programmable scenes and 96 programmable chases (all password-protected), while running 12 chases at the same time.

The console features a power failure memory function that restores the unit to its last condition when turning it on again, and is compatible with non-DMX fixtures when used in conjunction with the DP-DMX20 power pack or the DP-DMX20L and DP-DMX620 dimmer packs (available separately).
