The Cubase Recording Pack from Steinberg includes a UR22 2-channel USB audio interface, an MXL 1022 cardioid large-diaphragm condenser microphone with an MXL-57 shockmount, a pair of Yamaha RH5MA headphones, a 10-foot Mogami XLR cable, and a downloadable copy of Cubase AI with an upgrade to the full version of Cubase 7.
The UR22 features two combination XLR/TRS D-PRE microphone preamps and is capable of recording audio in up to 24-bit/192kHz quality. In addition to two mic preamps, the unit also has 5-pin DIN MIDI inputs and outputs and latency-free hardware monitoring. Its front-panel headphone output allows you to use the included Yamaha RH5MA headphones. The UR22 is housed in a metal chassis designed to handle portable use.
The included MXL 1022 large-diaphragm condenser mic has an integrated FET preamp and is optimized for both instrument and vocal capture. It is internally wired with Mogami cable and includes the MXL-57 shockmount for stability and reduced vibration during recording. The 1022 can be connected to the UR22 with the included 10-foot Mogami XLR cable.
