Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shame on the product Not worth paying a cent, if your not willing to make your own upgrades ..I ran into several issues with this ladder 1) The wheels are hard to open & close; but it doesn't seem to have a problem closing on its own while its being used causing the gear to fall to the side :( // 2) the rubber wheels are way to hard, as a result you will feel every bump, vibration on the road as your pushing it // 3) if you have gear on the cart as normal, the cart will fall forward (Not good if you have over 20,000 worth of gear) the only way I could leave my gear alone was to lean it against a wall...To me it seems as if they didn't do enough research as they designed this product I would say the main issue are the wheels, just to bad they can't fix the problem!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Step Ladder, Dolly, meh... I love B&H and am always happy with my purchases from them. The Pearstone Ladder is my least favorite, however. The ladder part works fine, it is lightweight, and the construction seems very good. First problem is the wheel are hard to open. Not a deal breaker, you just use your foot, step on them and swing them out--no big deal. Sadly, they close back up way too easily. I was trying to haul what must have been too heavy of a load as I could not even use the dolly--the right wheel would fold under after just a few feet. I took half my load off the cart but no luck. I later found the solution is to push the cart rather than pull it. Bottom line, if you need a dolly, buy one, this isn't for you. If you have a lightweight load to carry, this combo might get you where you need to go, and then you will have a step ladder. I would return it, but I am too late for that. Now I will rig something up to keep the wheels in place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sturdy so far After going through a light weight cart from @ and Rock n' Roller cart, I wanted something that's similar to @ cart and easier to carry around than Rock n' Roller cart. I really like the RnR cart but if the shoot doesn't call for heavy amount of gears, I wanted an option to be able to carry gears around in a smaller cart.Assembly: Wheels were bit pain to fit together as the plastic part that needs to go with the cart's main tube area was tough to put it together. Light banging with a hammer solved that and putting the screws in afterwards were a breeze.Construction: Good, sturdy and reliable. There are some plastic parts but overall it should withstand use and abuse.Size: fits vertically in the back seat of my small sedan. (Civic, Corolla, Elantra etc..) Whine: The wheels were bit hard to reposition and even with the wheels and the bottom carry part folded out, it doesn't seem to be able to stand by itself.. it fell twice.. had to lean it on something. Minor annoynaces..I feel like this product is going to last quiet sometime before I manage to break it and will be handy on numerous occasions. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to pick up a cart/ladder type product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built but large ladder I ordered this very nice and well built ladder on the internet. My understanding of it was that it was for portable use. When it arrived it was much larger and heavier than I expected. It will be too difficult to take this to on-site shoots with me. It is perfect for a studio location where you have the room and do not have to move it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It has it's ups and downs Purchased the ladder for a different perspective in photo shoots, particularly at the Saratoga practice track. After use I found the ladder has its ups and downs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. This thing is built like a tank, sturdy, secure and solid. The steps are large the handle well padded and it is easy to open and close for cary.
