MSI Live Update 5 is a useful application for updating your motherboard with the latest BIOS and drivers. You can install and run the Live Update 5 software on your computer from the companion CD or by downloading the app from the MSI website. Once installed, the app automatically detects any BIOS/driver/VGA/Utility update. MSI Live Update 5 supports Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 32/64-bit.

This feature allows BIOS updates to be downloaded to a FAT32-formatted flash drive (purchased separately), which can then be used to update your motherboard. This is a safer method of updating the BIOS than downloading it directly to the motherboard or copying the upgraded BIOS to a disk and upgrading the motherboard from it. M-Flash can also be used as a portable BIOS chip which is capable of booting up your PC. You can backup/restore your BIOS to/from any USB flash disk.
