The Sharp Aquos LC-70UD1U is a THX certified 70" TV with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 and 4K up-scaling for lower resolution sources. This TV features a 120Hz refresh rate to minimize distortion on fast-moving images. As a Smart TV, this model features built-in 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, so you can stream audio and video content from Sharp's SmartCentral web-interface.
This TV comes with two pairs of 3D glasses and features active 3D technology, which displays 3D in full HD resolution - you can also convert 2D content into 3D. Having one component video and four HDMI inputs, this TV gives you multiple options for connecting high definition sources. This TV's 6 component speaker system has 35 watts of combined power, but you do have the option of utilizing the TV's optical output for connecting to a higher power speaker system. This TV is designed with quality in mind, featuring an aircraft-grade aluminum bezel.
Bluetooth: If you use the built-in web browser, you can connect a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to either of the TV's USB inputs. These components simplify web-browsing by providing a computer-like experience.
Video: This TV features four HDMI, two composite and one component video input. One of its HDMI inputs supports Mobile HD Link (MHL) and Audio Return Channel (ARC). MHL allows you to connect a mini-HDMI cable to your smartphone or tablet for HD display on your television, while ARC allows you to listen to TV audio from an external audio system without using a separate digital optical cable, which is conventionally required. This Sharp Aquos also incorporates Aquos Link, which enables control of other HDMI devices with a single HDMI connection.
