Chief STS1 Overview

Securely mount your point-of-sale or digital menu display with the black Chief STS1 Bolt-Down Table Stand. It is designed to provide secure and easy mounting for 18 to 30" displays weighing up to 30 lb. The stand provides up to 270° of swivel and 5.1" of height adjustment.

I wanted a monitor stand for bolting to a table for use in a van-based office; for this application it is perfect; the height adjustment (using Philips screws) is clunky for most applications but secure in a moving van.

Good looking. Sturdy. Excellent range of adjustment for height. Good angle adjustment range in horizontal plane but limited in verticle. Solid mounting bolts and flange. Depth from rear to front of mounted tablet approaches 6, so needs fair amount of space on a bench top to keep the tablet from hanging out where it can catch on a passerby. Can be used to mount to ceiling but height of screen ends up fairly high.
