The black with charcoal Pro Sling Strap for DSLRs from Joby is a thin and lightweight, form-fitting, retractable strap for people with t-shirt sizes from S to L. It holds, and provides instant-access to, your DSLR with a battery grip and a telephoto zoom lens. As an added security measure, the strap also features a separate camera tether, which provides a second attachment point for your DSLR.

The Pro Sling Strap features an innovative SpeedCinch pulley system, which is a two-part camera retrieval and locking mechanism. First, it allows you to quickly retrieve your camera from an adjustable and retractable strap across your body. Second, it allows you to lock your DSLR at your back, preventing your camera from swinging and bouncing around. To return to shooting, simply unlock your camera and draw it forward in an upward arc motion; the strap doubles in length as the smooth material allows you to bring it up to eye-level.

The strap can be attached to your DSLR via a universal 1/4"-20 tripod thumbscrew. To quickly mount your camera with Pro Sling Strap to a tripod, you can first attach an optional Joby quick-release Ultra Plate to your camera. For comfort carrying the strap, the strong materials work to evenly distribute the weight of your camera away from your neck and shoulders.

Pull pivot ring and camera in opposite directions to adjust strap to body
Rolled-up excess strap is secured with buckle and elastic band to prevent dangling
High-performance, computer-loomed material provides smooth glide up to eye-level
Integrated grip thread provides a non-slip grip
Camera attachment has a greased bearing allowing your camera a 360° rotation without becoming unscrewed
Camera tether features strong Dyneema cord and stainless steel locking carabineer
Fiberglass-reinforced hardware is strong and secure like metal, yet lightweight

Pro Sling Strap for DSLRs (S-L) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this strap! My wife and I were going on an overseas trip where we would be walking a lot. I wanted a camera strap that would not be as bothersome as the out-of-the-box strap that came with my camera. I saw this strap online and thought I'd give it a try. I absolutely love it. For me, it worked exactly as advertised. It was comfortable and my camera was easily and quickly available. I only have 1 minor complaint. I use a tripod a lot so I also have the tripod plate. With the plate and the strap attached, the camera will not sit level when setting it down. For me, this is only a small annoyance. Overall, I would not hesitate to purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a champ. I was a little disappointed during unboxing the sling, because the design appeared to be uncomfortable. I walked 8+ hours a day in the high desert for 4 days straight with a very, very heavy lens on my camera. It worked perfectly and was incredibly comfortable. On my smaller glass, it wouldn't move, but on a 6lb lens I had to engage the lock or else it would creep to fully extended. This was not a problem at all. No fatigue, I had zero worries due to the locking carabiner safety tether, and it was extremely easy to use with a monopod if I needed the stability- and leaving the tether on was no issue at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great strap! A great strap. It feels very solid for my 7DII and 300mm combination. I love the design, especially the locking possibility, which is a considerable advantage over other popular straps. There are two things I would try and improve on this product: First, state the weight capacity of the strap and hardware. I tried it with 500mm F4 (attached to the ring foot) and, while it seems solid, I am not totally confident. This strap could become a reference IMO with hardware other than plastic. Second, I would add something to make it more comfortable around the neck. (I will actually add a neoprene sleeve myself).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Strap I've ever used I bought a Joby Pro Sling about a year ago. The first one was the large, and I traded it back to the dealer for the smaller version. This is my third sling strap, and it is by far the best sling strap I have ever owned. The quality of workmanship, the ease of use and the good looks of this strap are outstanding. I use it on my Nikon Df, as a traditional strap would be in the way of the camera controls. This strap is a my first Joby product, and if the rest of the line is made this well, this company is top flight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best accessory Bought this a couple of weeks ago to get it for our family vacation.  Glad I did!  We went to Mt. Rushmore, which means lots of walking.  Stayed in a small town near by and again, lots of walking around.  As I saw everyone struggling with their straps, I was sure glad I got this one.  Works just like the video demo shows and it sure saved my neck.  I have a Canon T4i and works great with it.  Was leery about it being attached  just to the mount on the bottom, so that is why I went with the pro since it has the additional attachment.  I was turning to my wife several times during the vacation saying how glad I got this strap.  Next will be the tripod attachment.  I checked the screw several times during the week and it was never loose.  Funny thing is I didn't see a single person at Mt Rushmore with one.  I would figure with all those cameras, I would come across others with one.  It sure made hiking that trail a breeze!  Anytime I saw a shot I wanted to take, I unlocked and had it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not support the weight of my 5d with 20-200 I just bought this for a recent shoot in AZ and was extremely disappointed in how inefficient it was. My camera never seemed to stay firmly synched to my side, but instead continued to slip down and dangle. Definitely would not recommend this product. To top it off my JOBY Focus tripod's bullhead quick release also broke on the first day of the same shoot. The little plastic tab/button that serves as the release snapped off. For the remainder of the weeklong shoot the plate would not come off the ballhead, so I had to unscrew and screw on my camera whenever I needed to use it. Use to love JOBY products. I will not be purchasing this brand in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ergonomic and well-designed. I've had mine (two of them) for 5 months now, strapped to my Nikon D800 and D610 (with battery grips and all) and they have worked amazingly well. I've hiked a couple of rough trails in Oregon in very wet, cold weather and the strap stayed "strapped" to my body in the locked position. The attachment point to the camera is sturdy and reliable (though I make sure the additional security tether is connected, too) and the strap distributes the weight of the camera comfortably over my shoulder and the rest of my body. Grabbing the camera for an instant shot is a cinch, thanks to the well-designed rotating mechanism at the point where the camera is attached to the strap. Thanks, JOBY!
