The black with charcoal Pro Sling Strap for DSLRs from Joby is a thin and lightweight, form-fitting, retractable strap for people with t-shirt sizes from S to L. It holds, and provides instant-access to, your DSLR with a battery grip and a telephoto zoom lens. As an added security measure, the strap also features a separate camera tether, which provides a second attachment point for your DSLR.

The Pro Sling Strap features an innovative SpeedCinch pulley system, which is a two-part camera retrieval and locking mechanism. First, it allows you to quickly retrieve your camera from an adjustable and retractable strap across your body. Second, it allows you to lock your DSLR at your back, preventing your camera from swinging and bouncing around. To return to shooting, simply unlock your camera and draw it forward in an upward arc motion; the strap doubles in length as the smooth material allows you to bring it up to eye-level.

The strap can be attached to your DSLR via a universal 1/4"-20 tripod thumbscrew. To quickly mount your camera with Pro Sling Strap to a tripod, you can first attach an optional Joby quick-release Ultra Plate to your camera. For comfort carrying the strap, the strong materials work to evenly distribute the weight of your camera away from your neck and shoulders.

Pull pivot ring and camera in opposite directions to adjust strap to body
Rolled-up excess strap is secured with buckle and elastic band to prevent dangling
High-performance, computer-loomed material provides smooth glide up to eye-level
Integrated grip thread provides a non-slip grip
Camera attachment has a greased bearing allowing your camera a 360° rotation without becoming unscrewed
Camera tether features strong Dyneema cord and stainless steel locking carabineer
Fiberglass-reinforced hardware is strong and secure like metal, yet lightweight

Pro Sling Strap for DSLRs (S-L) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Strap for the Price This is my first purchase of the Pro Sling strap. I use the Joby UltraFit Sling Strap on my Nikon D5100. I liked that product so I thought for my D750, I would get the pro strap. It is essentially the same but it has a tether that can be attached to the eyelets on the camera as an added bit of security should the strap come out of the tripod socket. I have never had the other Joby strap come loose and I am confident that it will stay put. There is no need to carry a screwdriver or a coin in order to secure it to the camera. I usually leave the camera hanging quite low when I am doing a lot of shooting. However, when walking through large crowds when space is tight, you have the ability to pull the strap tight so the camera stays close to the body. This is a nice feature and it keeps the camera from swinging around. The padding is a little different from the Joby UltraFit Sling Strap as it is not as grippy but I don't like straps that grip to my shirt anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent strap, easy to use I got this strap to replace the stock strap for my D7200 so the camera could hang securely at my side. This strap came set up out of the box and it very intuitive to loosen and tighten. I especially like the fact that it automatically loosens up as you raise the camera to your face so if you need to line up a shot quickly, there is zero fumbling with your strap. I like that it adjusts quickly so after taking a shot you can quickly sling it up tight to your side so the camera doesn't flop around and risk hitting things. This is the first side strap i have ever used so I can't compare to other products like BlackRapid but I really like this strap and would definitely buy it again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! I love it!!! This is one of the most useful product you can attach to your camera. You simple screw it on the bottom and attach the safety tether and you are set. My neck does not hurt anymore because the weight is over your shoulder. I love the fact that you can quick draw your camera. Once attached, it is secure and be confident about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compelled to write a review What a fantastic product, so well thought of and so well put together, such great materials, a trully functional camera strap which will last for years and I feel great using it. The material is very strong and light weight, has great sticksion, my extra heavy camera hangs nicely and I can easily adjust the height depending on lens/matt box. I use it with the Jobi ultra plate which I don't have to remove from the camera body, and the pro sling attaches and detached with a twist. For me the price is cheap, compared to anything else. Stop looking, you have found it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great strap, As a neck strap replacement, this is tops! I was between this and the blackrapid straps, and what sold me was the cinching mechanism to tighten the camera to your body when walking around not shooting. Very easy to cinch and release once you're ready to shoot again. Wish it was a bit easier to unclip the strap from the plate with a clip similar to the blackrapid's perhaps but that might just be personal. I just leave it connected at all times to the the ultraplate attached to my Camera so it's always arca-swiss tripod ready. Don't hesitate, great buy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great strap, but really sucks if you use your tripod a lot. The strap itself is amazing -- there is no better one that I've tried. It's very snug to the body and moves immediately for a shot, then a super quick pull on the strap to move it back close to your body. A brilliant design that no other strap can compete with. But the major negative thing -- so much so that I might sell it -- is that you can't mount a tripod quick plate on when you're using this strap, which makes going back and forth between handheld and tripod a real pain when you're used to the ease of a quick plate (the strap renders a quick plate useless). I don't want to buy yet another gizmo that adds weight and bulk just so I can release it quickly. This is a major fault in my opinion, and isn't good for shoots where you need to go back and forth often between hand held and tripod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! And a little help deciding on which size. Love the strap. Easy to use. If you are worried about tying up the tripod mount then get the Joby UltraPlate. Me, I got the Joby Ultrafit handstrap with UltraPlate. I always keep the handstrap on because that's generally how I like to hold the camera. However for a longer day, the sling strap works great. Those that have an issue with the screw coming loose have not tightened it well enough. You can tighten by hand and use a quarter to tighten further if needed. There is also a rubberized washer that grabs well. I still check it before each use and there's a great security strap if you are still concerned and it works well without getting in the way. Now, as for sizing, Im a 5'10 guy, 185lbs and my shoulders are average width. I got the S-L and it works great for me. Tightens up well to carry it above my waist against my lower back and if it's going to be a long walk, then snap the lock to keep it from loosening. When I'm ready to shoot, it loosens up without any issues. Just grab the camera and bring it up to shoot. My size and smaller, S-L should work well. Anyone larger in size, I would recommend trying the L-XXL.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Quality Strap Great Quality Strap: good materials, good stitching and comfort. I use it with a D7100 and lenses over 550g. Ideal for walk around photography. I like the build quality, and that it can be positioned high or low. Easy to operate, and fast. Things I don't like: the 1/4 attachment is nice but needs to be removed when switching to tripod. Another plate between this attachment and a quick-release plate is just too much to carry around. Overall, a great product for street photography. Makes carrying a DSLR easy and comfortable.
