The black with charcoal Pro Sling Strap for DSLRs from Joby is a thin and lightweight, form-fitting, retractable strap for people with t-shirt sizes from L to XXL. It holds, and provides instant-access to, your DSLR with a battery grip and a telephoto zoom lens. As an added security measure, the strap also features a separate camera tether, which provides a second attachment point for your DSLR.

The Pro Sling Strap features an innovative SpeedCinch pulley system, which is a two-part camera retrieval and locking mechanism. First, it allows you to quickly retrieve your camera from an adjustable and retractable strap across your body. Second, it allows you to lock your DSLR at your back, preventing your camera from swinging and bouncing around. To return to shooting, simply unlock your camera and draw it forward in an upward arc motion; the strap doubles in length as the smooth material allows you to bring it up to eye-level.

The strap can be attached to your DSLR via a universal 1/4"-20 tripod thumbscrew. To quickly mount your camera with Pro Sling Strap to a tripod, you can first attach an optional Joby quick-release Ultra Plate to your camera. For comfort carrying the strap, the strong materials work to evenly distribute the weight of your camera away from your neck and shoulders.

Pull pivot ring and camera in opposite directions to adjust strap to body
Rolled-up excess strap is secured with buckle and elastic band to prevent dangling
High-performance, computer-loomed material provides smooth glide up to eye-level
Integrated grip thread provides a non-slip grip
Camera attachment has a greased bearing allowing your camera a 360° rotation without becoming unscrewed
Camera tether features strong Dyneema cord and stainless steel locking carabineer
Fiberglass-reinforced hardware is strong and secure like metal, yet lightweight

Pro Sling Strap for DSLRs (L-XXL) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 157.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this strap! My wife and I were going on an overseas trip where we would be walking a lot. I wanted a camera strap that would not be as bothersome as the out-of-the-box strap that came with my camera. I saw this strap online and thought I'd give it a try. I absolutely love it. For me, it worked exactly as advertised. It was comfortable and my camera was easily and quickly available. I only have 1 minor complaint. I use a tripod a lot so I also have the tripod plate. With the plate and the strap attached, the camera will not sit level when setting it down. For me, this is only a small annoyance. Overall, I would not hesitate to purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a champ. I was a little disappointed during unboxing the sling, because the design appeared to be uncomfortable. I walked 8+ hours a day in the high desert for 4 days straight with a very, very heavy lens on my camera. It worked perfectly and was incredibly comfortable. On my smaller glass, it wouldn't move, but on a 6lb lens I had to engage the lock or else it would creep to fully extended. This was not a problem at all. No fatigue, I had zero worries due to the locking carabiner safety tether, and it was extremely easy to use with a monopod if I needed the stability- and leaving the tether on was no issue at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great strap! A great strap. It feels very solid for my 7DII and 300mm combination. I love the design, especially the locking possibility, which is a considerable advantage over other popular straps. There are two things I would try and improve on this product: First, state the weight capacity of the strap and hardware. I tried it with 500mm F4 (attached to the ring foot) and, while it seems solid, I am not totally confident. This strap could become a reference IMO with hardware other than plastic. Second, I would add something to make it more comfortable around the neck. (I will actually add a neoprene sleeve myself).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best DSLR Camera Strap, Hands Down! I have searched the planet for the best overall camera strap, and this is it! It is large and can be worn across the body (instead of around the neck or over one shoulder), and it makes moving with a DSLR so easy. And the camera stays in a position that sits naturally by your normal shooting hand (either left or right). It's just simple and easy, and not cumbersome like all neck/shoulder straps tend to be... Buy it, now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic strap Beats the hell out of using a standard camera strap (the ones included with camera). I always attached my standard strap to only on side of the camera anyway (both ends can be be threaded together: I won't explain, it's easy to do but buy one of these instead) so that I had a sling style strap. I don't like having a strap on when using a tripod so being able to quickly remove this strap is a great feature. The feature that lets me change the length of the strap very quickly is also very handy. Using 2 cameras in a helicopter is a bit of a tangle with standard straps: this solves the problem. The extra safety attachment is reassuring in that regard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Alternative to Standard Strap Once adjusted to your body (an easy process), this strap makes carrying a heavy DSLR very comfortable. Bringing the camera up to take a shot is quick and effortless, and the camera rides on your hip with minimal bouncing. The attachment button is secure and there is a safety strap prevent the camera from falling, should the button come loose. The strap is wide enough across the shoulder to distribute the camera's weight comfortably. The attachment button does add about inch to the height of the camera, which should be considered if your camera bag is already a snug fit for your camera body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Strap I've ever used I bought a Joby Pro Sling about a year ago. The first one was the large, and I traded it back to the dealer for the smaller version. This is my third sling strap, and it is by far the best sling strap I have ever owned. The quality of workmanship, the ease of use and the good looks of this strap are outstanding. I use it on my Nikon Df, as a traditional strap would be in the way of the camera controls. This strap is a my first Joby product, and if the rest of the line is made this well, this company is top flight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Good Upgrade from the UltraFit Strap I had the UltraFit Sling on my camera for awhile and just love it. But the Pro Series offered a more comfortable and wider strap and a safety link. The only thing I didnt like was the pretty large generic metallic carabiner which might chafe the camera body. So I modified it with a NiteIze quick release S carabiner, its lighter, smaller, has a safety tab, and looks better. Funny, how some people managed to drop their cameras and blame it on the strap?, when all you need is a little elbow grease and regular checkups on the bolt tightness.
