Works fine. Fits my clamps. Scales are easy to read. Would have been nice to have some additional small holes along edges, at least near the ends, to insert security screws to prevent camera from sliding off if the clamp becomes loose. I can live with that. That said, the milled edges of the side clamping slots are quite sharp; I filed ever so slightly with a fine diamond file and now all is well. One star deducted, though, as the quality is just not up to the level of Really Right Stuff devices. But, the price is right.

The Desmond Long Quick Release Plate (250mm) is an Arca-Type compatible plate. If your Manfrotto fluid head is Arca-Type compatible it will fit.
