The VB-S900F 1080p Day/Night Box Camera from Canon features a powerful 1/3" CMOS sensor that provides 1080p resolution and an H.264 codec for streaming video footage at 8 different rates up to 30 fps, while using low amounts of bandwidth and storage. An f/1.6 lens aperture provides a 96° wide angle of view for eliminating focus shift due to temperature changes. The camera can perform in low-light situations, recording in color when there is a minimum illumination of 0.4 to 0.01 lux and recording in black and white when there is a minimum illumination of 0.2 to 0.007 lux. The integrated DIGIC DV III image processor and DIGIC NET II processor deliver clear images, and the camera's small circuit boards and components are laid out to minimize space, providing a compact, flexible installation solution.
