This OTG cable is wired correctly, unlike many of the ones that can be found on Amazon. Definitely just go to B&H for the more obscure technical things rather than ordering online-- it would have saved me substantial time on multiple occasions now, and their products have always worked as described.

Is this USB 3 speeds certified? I don't want it to convert to USB 2 speeds just because of the adapter.

I'm not sure, but don't think it is certified USB3. I believe, if it is they would have included it in the specs and it's not included even on StarTech's web site, just says, Connector A: 1 - USB Micro-B (5 pin) Male & Connector B: 1 - USB A (4 pin) Female
