Like Windows 8, Windows 8.1 Pro has native support for touch-screen operation when used with compatible peripherals.

This Windows 8.1 Pro Installation DVD can serve as a direct upgrade for Windows 7 users. It also supports Vista and XP systems, but it will require a clean installation. Upon Installation, you can choose the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the operating system. Windows 8 Pro users can upgrade to 8.1 Pro for free through the Windows store.
