An anti-shake mode helps to steady your compositions and face and smile detection modes help you to capture the best images possible by adjusting the exposure for subject's faces and releasing the shutter when a smile is recognized.
A built-in flash also helps to create proper exposures when the lighting gets too low. Additionally, this camera is capable of capturing standard definition video at 480p resolution.
