It says that the weight of this keyboard is 65lbs, and 83lbs packaged. What is the additional 18lbs of weight? I'm looking to purchase local and then ship overseas on an airplane as a check-in; however the max weight airline companies accept is 70lbs. So would it be possible to repackage it in a safe way in which it won't weigh over 70lbs? Like taking the pedals out of the package and putting them in a separate bag?
Unfortunately we cannot open and repackage any products for you. Doing so would void our vendor agreements and the manufacturer's warranty.
