Is Moog Ep3 pedal compatible with roland FantomX?
Should work just fine. It's a great expression pedal, with a smooth, even range. A real upgrade over my Yamaha pedal. Plastic but solid. Non-slip base. Removal 1/4 cable - a big plus too. Works with my Kurzweil, Yamaha and other boards. Best $40 pedal out there, get it immediately!

It's a plastic housing. Thick though. Well made. I bought a second one as well.
