I love the Paralinx Arrow system, but I have had two of these cables overheat and short out during a shoot. It, of course, happens at a time when I cannot examine the device for a problem, and yet both times I've had an error it was this cable that failed. The first time the cable failed it caused a firmware malfunction that required a system reset. The Paralinx support team assured me after the first time that this was a rare occurrence. Then it happened again with a cable that was only used for about 10 hours.
