This Custom Quick-Release Plate from Sunwayfoto is CNC machined to perfectly fit the Canon 7D DSLR camera without a battery grip. It is an Arca-type compatible plate with a light, hollow design and a satin anodized surface that protects against corrosion and abrasions. It has a convex edge anti-twist design that snuggly fits against the base of the camera, reducing unwanted movement.
A slot on the edge of the plate enables the use of a camera strap, and a 1/4"-20 threaded hole allows you to attach a D-ring for speed straps or attach the plate directly to a monopod. Two safety screws are located on the bottom of the plate, preventing your camera from sliding out of the clamp when adjusting the plate location. Two hex wrenches are included: a 3mm wrench to install or remove the safety screws, and a 4mm wrench for the 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw.
