I've been a gigging musician for nearly 30 years, and my only regret is arriving late to the SwirlyGig party. I ordered one, started bringing it to every show and stopped worrying about accidentally knocking over my beverage with feet or cables. I've since bought more as I put together a downstairs jam space, so every musician friend I host can experience the same amenity (and I don't need to worry about cleaning up after them)! I got this 1 version because the stand I use for the drum vocal is a converted PA stand with a 1 diameter. For my three bass/guitar stations which have a standard 1/2 mic stand, I use the 1/2 versions.

This accessory solved my problem of where to place my drink when I am rehearsing or performing. It's a bit tricky to install until you get the hang of it, but very stable once in place.
