The black PDBC50 19" Rackmountable Power Strip Surge Protector from Pyle Pro offers protection to all your systems from spike and surges, and also supplies power to the equipment. It includes 6 rear-panel outlets and 3 front-panel outlets, and features a circuit breaker and push-to-reset function with current protection.

The built-in AC noise filter eliminates unwanted RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). This allows all the equipment connected to the power supply to function better and last longer.

Note: This equipment should be connected to a 20A-rated receptacle of the branch circuit. The total current drawn from the receptacles of this equipment is 15A maximum, and no individual receptacle should draw more than 12A.

PDBC50 19" Rackmountable Power Strip Surge Protector (Black) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pyle PDBC5019 Rack Power Strip The power strip works well and the 3 front outlets are handy. However the rack mount holes do not align with all four holes. I therefore use only 2 holes/screws to mount the unit. I tried this unit with 2 different racks and had the same result. It would be difficult to give more than a 3 star rating with this flaw in manufacturing. The work to return this unit is not worth the effort and it does work well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works but... Basic operations are fine so far. Switch, light, and plugs work. A low price is appropriate. When taking it apart I noticed that the screws are very soft; easily stripped. Rack mount hole locations are very far off; that takes real tools/time/trouble to fix. Width of front panel seems a little large as well. Audible mechanical buzz when plugged in. I don't expect it to last long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Use on a sound board and perifuel equipment in a church sound room no stray noise or issues with this unit. buy 2 as there is never enugh switched power in your sound room. Do not use switched power on your computers fastest way to destroy a computer is repeated hard power kills.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good unit. No real protection other than circuit breaker. Of the first two we bought, one of them was wired improperly. The side with the 3 sockets had the Hot and Neutral wires reversed, and the circuit breaker was wired on the Neutral side. They used push on connectors so it was easy to fix and not a big problem - but could be dangerous. The middle socket is labeled Switched Outlet. It would be better if, next to the power switch it was labeled All Outlets Switched. It would be best to just eliminate the label all together. Under Product Highlights, it says: Power Supply Conditioner Protects Against Spike & Surges Built-In AC Noise Filter Eliminates RFI and EMI But it doesn't appear to have any of this. When I opened it up, all that's in there is a circuit breaker, a switch, sockets and wiring. The switch is just a DPDT switch (Soken RK1-01) that switches both sides of the incoming AC line. The lamp in the power switch just shows power is on, there is no Protection OK indicator. It has no voltage regulator, power factor correction, noise suppression or transient impulse protection devices or circuitry built into it. As it is, we do not require filtering, surge protection or even the light. The components it uses are very standard and it should last a long time. It is 19 wide and 1 3/4 tall. It is easy to mount in a standard 19 inch rack cabinet. The mounting holes are slightly oversized and elongated. The only thing really wrong with the design is that the circuit breaker should be on the side facing out when it's mounted. With the circuit breaker on the side facing towards the inside of the cabinet it is not obvious to the user that it is there. As I mentioned earlier, I have opened it; there is space inside for the breaker to be positioned on the other side. It is a good value for the money and should last a long time. It's only getting 4 stars as one of the several we've bought was wired wrong and now every one has to be checked.
