    SanDisk 16GB reviews

16GB Ultra CompactFlash Memory Card is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 64.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from In used in older cameras The slower writing speed makes it more suitable for older cameras. I have tested Nikon d2x with this card with discard versus newer faster writing cards. It seems that faster the card writing the slower the camera uploads the images to the card. I didn't think that this would be so. I did it side-by-side test. With two different cameras. In this card what's quicker in all 10 test I made with it. So if you have an older camera stick with the slower writing speed for a faster download to the card. I have seen one of these cards that was lost in a camera underwater in stream for just over one year and we cleaned it up the SD card it still had the photos on it from the day it was used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for fast shooters!!! I stress fully that if you shoot very very fast with continues burst mode (spray and pray) then these cards will not be for you at all! They are very slow for this purpose. Even if you shoot moderately fast they are slow. I shoot on a D800 so pumping out those large files in burst mode with this card is not effective at all and will staul your camera for about a minute. I did not buy these cards for that purpose, my intention with these cards are for general sessions like engagement, maternity etc. where I have absolutely no need for fast shooting. For this purpose these cards work absolutely perfectly. If you you will be shoot stills of any kind these get the job done with out hitting your wallet very hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from new and faster This is the new version and is 50 MB/s as opposed to the previous 30 MB/s. In my 7D it does actually seem faster but hard to tell since the Canon 7D already has a fast shutter speed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice with D800 Because of local availability, I just used my old 8-gig cf cards for backup:overflow, and mostly used SD cards. I bought a couple of these to provide more emergency space. I have to say, they are much faster than the equivalent sandisk sd card. If I wasn't set for memory, it would work better to use cf cards as my main, and the sd slot as my overflow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's great. It's heavy duty. It does what it's supposed to without asking any questions. It is reasonably priced. Transfer rate is probably faster than either your device or your card reader itself, so although they do make faster cards, just don't worry about it. Seriously. I have no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No complaints I wish CF cards dropped in price like SD, but I can't knock this for general supply & demand. I've only used it for one wedding so far, but it performed reliable and fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size Primary memory card I use 16 GB cards as the primary cards in my Nikon D800s. My backup card is a 32 GB. This card, I felt, was a great value. Yes, there are far more expensive ones.
