The Mini Multi-Battery Tester from ZTS is a microprocessor-controlled instrument that computes the battery's remaining power capacity using a fully automatic, pulse load test. After about 2 seconds, the percentage of remaining capacity is indicated on the LED display.

Battery types are clearly labeled next to appropriate contacts and this tester works with over 15 different batteries, including NiMH, lithium, lithium-ion, alkaline, coin type and more. By using this tester you'll know exactly how much life is left in your batteries. The unit runs on four AAA batteries and features a probe and lead wire which conveniently stores away in the seam.

    ZTS MINI-MBT reviews

Mini Multi-Battery Tester is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient, functional battery tester I bought this battery tester to keep track of the level of my batteries. Because I have 5 flashes, and 4 radio triggers, it is important for me to know how much life I will have during my photo shooting, before I need to change batteries / need to recharge. I'm glad that it undertakes an accurate test (using load on the battery) - so I can tell if the batteries are 10%, 20%, 40%, 80% or 100% (full). While it would be ideal to know the exact percentage (e.g. 67% or 4%), it's not strictly necessary for AA batteries in a flash / radio trigger (whereas for a camera itself, that's more crucial). This product is easy to use, very portable, accurate and fast. I'm glad it allows testing, and distinguishes between various batteries e.g. 1.2v NiMH vs 1.5 Alkalines, etc. Five stars for this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True Battery Testing! Finally a battery tester that is not merely a voltage test, but gives accurate readings of the battery;s remaining capacity. It is so small it takes very little space which is nice for field work. The case (sold optionally) protects the tester very well. For serious photographers this is what is called a no-brainer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful Tests quite an array of different batteries, single charge and rechargeable. Very easy to use and intuitive. Gives more information than cheaper testers and I think the information is more accurate. A little pricey but the quality is worth the extra money if you want to pay for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A battery tester that tells the truth Finally a battery tester that will read NIMH batteries, along with Alkaline, Lithium and 9Volt. The pulse load gives a more accurate reading of what battery to use in a portable flash unit. Very easy to use and packs in easily when in the field.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money saver. It saved me money and headaches on the first day. Easy to use and has the options I need (two other models available). Could use rubber pads on back to keep it from sliding around during use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, and seems to give realistic reviews. The headline is really my story ... after only a few weeks of usage, I can only say that it's easy to use, and that batteries that show okay with just a voltmeter don't all test great with this tester. I believe it is more realistic, in simulating load

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How many marginal batteries are lurking in your inventory? Have hundreds of batteries. Most used for older x10 systems. Batteries are on edge of failure, but I don't know which I can trust. This tester loads and tests and I can remove marginal batteries and replace them. Does the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from really useful i have remote devices that don't function well on low batteries, esp. 1.2v nimh. this allows me to ck and replace batteries when needed instead of bringing in the device and trouble shooting it.
